When couples separate, divorce or dissolve a civil partnership, arrangements
often have to be made about children, joint finances and property. Mediation
is a way of arriving at these arrangements.
Mediation MK is a not-for-profit organisation which has been operating
for more than 20 years. We exist to assist families experiencing the practical
consequences of separation and/or divorce. We are affiliated to National
Family Mediation (NFM) and hold a Community
Legal Service Franchise.
Our primary task is to provide mediation for adults whose relationship
has broken down and who wish to use mediation to make decisions or resolve
disputes regarding property, finance and child issues.
Our services are free to those who are eligible for public funding (Legal
Aid), and fees apply for all others, assessed according to income levels.
We have offices in Milton Keynes and Northampton.
